Skulpturenpark Köln

The sculpture by Paul Suter comes from the collection of the Michael and Eleonore Stoffel Foundation and has been put on display inside of the Garden Gallery where it demonstrates how very much this sculpture is now defined by its architectural relationship to the Garden Gallery and how this architecture is imaginable as the site of an exhibition in which different works from the collection can in turn be introduced in the future.

The sculpture in its abstraction is itself a typical example of iron sculpture from the late 1960s and 1970s. Paul Suter was a artist from Switzerland who is represented in the Stoffel collection with other works and also in the public space of the Park.
