Skulpturenpark Köln

Pedro Wirz (b. 1981, Brazil / Switzerland) lives and works in Porto (PT) and São Paulo (BR). In his sculptural works and installations, he combines natural and found materials with artifcial substances. His interest in folk and popular cultures leads to an apperception of nature, culture and technologies as the intersection between science and knowledge-transmission. Amongst others he took part in the group show „Prière de toucher“ at Museum Tinguely, Basel (2016) and „Ex Situ. Samples of Life Forms“ at Copenhagen Contemporary (2017).
