Skulpturenpark Köln

Nicola Schrudde’s contribution is out to play with our perception. The three solid sculptures of clay were obviously molded by hand and now show themselves under the protective roof of a greenhouse. The elementary house form is indeed meant as protection, to preserve the fragile sculptures installed inside. Viewed from outside, the sculptures’ contours appear hazy and their materiality is not immediately recognizable.
